MetroTex REALTORS In Action
This committee identifies and acts on community service projects in North Texas. Projects involve volunteers from; MetroTex, area fire fighters, the Injury Prevention Center, The Volunteer Center of North Texas (VCNT), Susan G. Komen and The Lone Star Ride in providing assistance to North Texas citizens that are unable to take care of themselves or their families. The committee meets monthly as needed. Every year MetroTex REALTORS In Action partners with Dallas City Fire - Rescue and The Injury Prevention Center of Greater Dallas to install free smoke alarms in neighborhoods that have been identified as having a higher rate of injury from a house fire.
