eKey Important Notes

  1. Cradles must be plugged into an analog phone line ONLY and plugged directly into the phone jack. If you do not have an available phone line, plug your phone or fax (the item using the phone line) directly into the cradle. Digital (DSL & ISDN) lines may work with an adapter (contact your phone carrier for verification/information).
  2. Place eKEY on the cradle nightly (your eKEY will automatically update, and recharge).
  3. There are 4 ways to Sync (overnight-automatically, immediate-manually, emergency-KIMvoice, emergency-KIMweb).
  4. If you obtain an update code from either KIMweb or KIMvoice, you must eSYNC using the cradle before you can obtain an update code from KIMweb or KIMvoice again.
  5. Do not remove the eKEY from the cradle while the light is other than green.
  6. Refer to your Supra eKEY Lease Agreement for replacement costs for a lost or stolen eKEY and/or eKEY cradle. 
  7. KeyBoxes must be registered at www.supraekey.com to receive showing information. However, you can still manually read KeyBoxes to get immediate showing information.
  8. eKEYS, Cradles and/or other defective parts can only be exchanged by MetroTex with a Reference # issued by Supra technical support.
  9. Do not expose the eKEY to excessive heat or cold.
  10. DO NOT DISPLAY OR CARRY YOUR PIN CODE ON OR WITH THE eKEY.
  11. Once you turn your eKEY on, press the power button again to turn the backlight on (useful for nighttime showings).
  12. Once you have made the entries on your eKEY to open a KeyBox, you then have five minutes to place the eKEY in the KeyBox to retrieve the key. This is particularly convenient during inclement weather or when a KeyBox is inconveniently located.
