How do I access NTREIS Listings?
NTREIS Listings can be accessed by going to the MetroTex website at www.dfwrealestate.com. From here you will select the link NTREIS Listings and input your login information. You can also access NTREIS Listings here ntreis.marketlinx.com.
System Requirements for NTREIS Listings
To access the NTREIS Listings site, we recommend a 266MHz (faster is better) computer, 128MB of memory (more is better), a connection to the Internet (faster is better), a browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer) and a user name and password. NTREIS Listings system is a website, which is on the public Internet, but only members who have a valid user name and password can enter the site.
Pop-Up windows are not opening, why?
A pop-up blocker may be enabled in your browser. It is recommend that you allow pop-ups while using NTREIS Listings. You must add the following url to your pop-up blockers list of allowed sites: ntreis.marketlinx.com.
If you are unable to find the pop-up blocker an alternative is to hold down the control key on the keyboard while selecting the option on the screen; the control key will by-pass the blocker and open the window.
When I click on search from the Quick Search screen nothing happens, why?
This is usually an issue with a firewall on the PC. More specifically, Norton Internet Security. Select the below link to view the instructions to modify your settings in Norton firewall. If you do not have a firewall and are receiving this error clear your cache and temporary internet files from your browser and try again. If you are still have a problem contact the MLS Department at 214-540-2755.
Can I change my own password to NTREIS Listings?
Yes, you may change your password by going to the My Page area and clicking on the change password link.
New Password Requirements:
Must be between 5 and 8 characters long
Must contain only alpha and numeric characters
Spaces and other special characters are not allowed
A password cannot be reused until the fourth password change
Password cannot be user name
Password cannot be "password" or "pswd"
How can I display NTREIS data on my website?
Here are the steps to add NTREIS MLS data to your website.
Is it possible to automatically send listings to clients?
Yes. The prospecting function in NTREIS Listings gives users the ability to create custom searches for clients that will automatically send matched to clients. You have multiple options of sending information to your clients. The first is a standard list of Customer and CMA Reports. The second is known as the Prospect Gateway.
Prospect Gateway is a personalized website created for that particular client. The user can still choose which way prospect searches will be updated, either by manual updates or by using Auto-Notification.
Note: Prospect Gateway displays only listings for searches set up by the agent – the client cannot use the site to set up their own searches. Preferences and defaults should be set in NTREIS Listings before adding a Prospect and making choices stated above.
I am using dial up and when I input a New Listing to save and continue it logs me off or gives me a blank page.
You can connect to the MLS through dial up but it is not recommended since the access will be very slow and depending on your internet service provider (ISP) sudden loss of connection may be common. Also, make sure programs such as anti- virus, pop up blockers and firewalls are turned off. These programs can prevent access to NTREIS Listings.
I am a head Broker, how do I look up my agent’s sales history or current inventory in NTREIS Listings?
Log in to NTREIS Listings, on the Menu bar click on My Tools/Broker Tools/Office Broker/Agent Performance.

Under Edit Listings in Marketlinx, the “Other Members Websites" may not have been selected when you initially entered your listing.
Click on Add/Edit menu in NTREIS Listings
View the listing by MLS number
Click on Edit Listing menu
Under the “Listings Will Appear On" field include “Other Members Websites".
Click Save.
Your listing should appear within about 72 hrs on the myriad participating member websites.
How do I add an Open House in NTREIS Listings?
Here are the steps to add an Open House to NTRIES.
When I create a new listing, and click on the ‘Auto-pop up from Tax’ button it gives me an invalid entry.
Invalid errors to auto populate are usually caused by pop-up blockers and add on applications. Disable or turn them off. Also, check for any incorrect data entries in the address or county fields.
My listing has recently expired (more than five days have passed) how do I extend the expiration date of my listing?
Fax us a copy of the Amendment to Listing with the date extension of the expiration date at 214.637.2060.
A sale I participated in has been closed out in the MLS and the Buyer’s agent name is incorrect. How do I correct the name of the Buyer’s agent on the sold property information?
Fax us a copy of the Seller’s Receipt (page 8 of the contract doc) to 214.637.2060 and we can change the selling agent info in the system.
I am a Broker and made an error in changing and updating the status of my listing from active to sold. How do I change the status?
The MLS department can change/update the error. We will need a faxed document detailing the error, signed by the Broker. Upon receipt, MLS will place the listing status as Pending so that the Broker may enter the appropriate sales information. You may fax your documentation to the MLS department at 214.637.2060.
I need to change the Listing Date on my listing due to an entry error.
Fax MLS the first two pages of the Listing Agreement showing the correct list date and a signed document from the Broker authorizing MLS to make the change. You may fax your documentation and signed request to 214.637.2060
I entered my listing yesterday and it is not showing up on www.REALTOR.com.
Normally, it takes 24 to 72 hours for a listing to show up in REALTOR.com. If that time period has passed please contact the MLS department at 214.637.2060.
An agent resigned after closing a transaction but prior to entering the sales information into the MLS. As a Broker/ office Admin, how do I edit the listing?
You can access the listing under the Add/Edit section by inputting the MLS number (in the View by MLS Numbersearch field). Click “Show Listings by MLS Number". On the following screen click on the Change Status/ Change Price menu and scroll down to the sold data entry fields.
I am offering a selling bonus, where can I note that in NTREIS Listings?
You may add your selling bonus note in the Private Remarks field.
How do I include my listing in an MLS Tour or Open House?
Note that while an Open House date and time is dictated by the agent, An MLS Tour has pre-set dates and times for entry. Refer to that section of our website for detailed information.
Access NTREIS Listings
Click on Add/Edit
Input the MLS # in the View by MLS Number search field
Click Show Listings by MLS Number
On the left Menu bar Click on “Add/Edit Open House/MLS Tours"
Select Add New
Enter your time, date and include your preference selection of MLS Tour or Open House.
How do I find the average days on the market in the area?
In NTREIS Listings click on Search and enter the Area number and click on Statistics. You can also get MLS Monthly Sales Statistics here.
A client backed out of a leasing agreement, how do I put the property back to active?
If the listing was closed out less than five (5) days ago, the Broker can edit the listing back to active under the Add/Edit menu. If it the time period is more than five (5) days the MLS department will need to edit the listing for the Agent/Broker. The MLS department requires a faxed request signed by the Broker and a copy of the updated listing agreement or amendment to the listing agreement. You may fax that request and documentation to 214.637.2060.
How do I add a virtual tour link to my listing in NTREIS Listings/ Marketlinx?
Log in to NTREIS MLS
Click on Add/Edit
Input the MLS number under View by MLS Number
Click on Add/Edit Media
Under Add New Media select Virtual Tour Hyperlink
Type in or paste the URL address accordingly and submit (you do not have to include the preceding HTTP:// when entering your virtual tour URL)
How do I search for foreclosures in NTREIS Listings?
To search for foreclosures, you have to create a Custom Search under the Search menu in NTREIS Listings. Create a custom search and include the field Seller Type under Available Fields (Foreclosure is an option is within the Seller Type field).
How do I print out all my prospect information in NTREIS Listings?
Log in to NTREIS Listings and click on Prospects
Click on Export and Save the file (a .txt file by default)
Open the saved .txt file in MS Excel
How do I change my email signature in NTREIS Listings?
Log in to NTREIS Listings
Click on My Tools/Preferences/Email Signature
Click Yes under Use Signature for Email.
Enter your email signature and click Save
How do I set my homepage preferences in NTREIS Listings?
Click on the Home Icon (next to Member Info icon) in NTREIS Listings located at the upper right hand side of your window
Click Preferences just below the Home Icon
From there you can set up your Lay Out & Content or your Start Menu
How do I do enter a sub-listing?
When entering the primary listing select yes in the field “Will Subdivide". Once you have completed entry of the primary listing and received an MLS number. Return to the Add/Edit menu, your primary listing should be on the screen in a one line format. Click on Change/Status Price and a sub-listing option will be available on that screen.
